Too much tension or instability in the hips can lead to dysfunction and injuries, and tension in the hips will often create problems in the knee joint and lumbar spine. The good news is you can enjoy increased range of motion of your hips, improved health of the hip joints, and reduced strain on the lower back through the practice of yoga.

This Workshop will present the anatomy of this important part of the body, exploring the structure of the hip joint and the main muscles around the joint. This is the opportunity to discover the natural limitations and normal tendencies of your hips. Join us to bring in understanding and light upon one of the most detailed portions of the body, helping you to move through injury, discomfort and into healing.
