This course will provide participants with a solid foundation and a good understanding of the philosophical applications of yoga. Learn about the major belief systems that support yogic philosophy and Eastern thinking in the modern world. It is an invaluable course for students and teachers of yoga as it provides them with a good understanding of the origins and applications of yoga. An examination of the key texts of yoga philosophy: Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, Ramayana, Iyengar’s Light on Life, and how philosophy meets the physical practice, and more! As you deepen your yoga practice you come to understand yoga is much more than asana (the physical practice). This workshop is a great place to get started with the basics of yoga philosophy, ask questions and choose a path to dive deeper. Open to all.


Teachers will be issued 20hrs CEU certificate of completion.
