Yoga Foundations 101
with Mike Schatzberg, 200 RYT
Empower yourself and deepen your practice, with Mike Schatzberg, RYT 200, for the breakdown of foundational postures within the yoga alignment principles. Your workshop will begin with a discussion about yoga tradition and yoga etiquette; which will be followed by an explanation of breathing techniques that help to steady your practice.
Postures breakdown will include: Downward Facing Dog, Upward Facing Dog, Plank, Chaturanga, Warrior 1 and Warrior 2. You'll get the chance to put it all into practice with a 30-45 minute Vinyasa Flow at the end.
This is a non-heated workshop. Beginner's are not only welcome, but encouraged to attend. Any level practitioner will find this workshop to be deep and enriching. Furthering our foundations are what allow us to reach for higher and higher levels of achievement, in yoga and in life!

Special Class: Hot Booty Yoga
Sunday, June 9th with Laurie Levenstein
12:30pm - 2:00pm
A fun combination of dance-inspired movements set to fun music for a spirited workout. With a background in ballet, Laurie combines the foundations of dance with yoga to give you the butt lift your bikini wants! This is a fun, playful, dance-y class in low heat (98 degrees); a good calorie burner and great booty-shaper!
Participation with regular studio membership, drop-ins are welcome! No previous experience necessary.
