The instructor coordinates postures and breath, utilizing alignment, safety, and stability for a full-bodied workout. This flow centers around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. All levels are welcome. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while remaining mindful in every act you perform.
The physical practice of Hot Vinyasa is comparable to the Non-heated Vinyasa classes (description above) although the experience is different. Classes are performed in our hot room where temperature warms to anywhere between 98 and 103 degrees. Please allow yourself three (3) hot vinyasa sessions to acclimate to the temperature difference.
HOT POWER VINYASA
This heated class focuses on mental and physical strength through logical sequences of postures designed to push you to your edge and beyond. Our power classes are motivating and centering while maintaining a focus on your moving meditation. Power classes are for everyone. Advanced practioners will be guided to find their edge and beginners will be offered alternative modifications to postures. Of course, the speed and intensity of this class is faster and higher than others. Challenge yourself physically, energetically, and spiritually in this class. WARM YIN YOGA
This popular class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. Our Yin Yoga attempts to coordinate relaxation and deep stretching, to improve focus and concentration, and ultimately help participants regain control of their body and mind.
With mainly seated postures, we take our time (3-5 minutes) in each posture to relax all of the muscles and facilitate flexibility and mobility in the joints and connective tissues. Yin Yoga is beneficial for everyone. Beginners ease into increased flexibility and circulation and advanced practitioners advance their practice by sustained deepening.
This class is designed to isolate and strengthen the parts of the body that assist in good posture, a happy spine and a clear and content mind. Core-related exercises mixed with yoga poses and fun music makes it a challenging and calorie-busting class. Whether you're looking to feel better through-out your work day or further for yoga practice, this class produces results.
VIN/YIN and HOT VIN/YIN
"Vin" is short for Vinyasa. This class is designed to isolate, stretch, and strengthen the parts of the body that assist in good posture, a happy spine and a clear and content mind. The last portion of the class takes a gentle transition into deep stretching and relaxing postures, leaving you invigorated and balanced. Join us for this great combination of rejuvenating and active Vinyasa Yoga with relaxing and settling Yin Yoga at the end.
