*If you miss a weekend, then May 1st/2nd is your make-up weekend. If you do not miss any hours, then you are not required to attend the weekend of May 1st/2nd.
Who will be teaching this amazing program?!
This Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training is lead by Laurie Levenstein 500 E-RYT and Alexandra Pachter, C-IAYT, IYT1000, and 500 E-RYT.
Laurie Levenstein is the owner of Yoga Aura and Lead Trainer of Yoga Aura's 200 hour and 500 hour Teacher Training program. Laurie's background began with certification for Ashtanga-based Vinyasa in 2011 and a 500-hour certification for Hatha Yoga in 2013. She's been instructing full-time with passion since 2011. Laurie emphasizes power and strength in her instruction with a solid foundation in anatomy and body mechanics. She balances this with a Reiki II Certification, in where she seeks to assist students in lifting their vibration supported by emotional release techniques.
Alexandra Pachter is a Certified Yoga Therapist and a Reiki Master. Through the philosophy of yoga, she teaches students how to clear stress and empower themselves mentally and physically. Her creative vinyasa and yin class methodologies are supported by therapeutic yoga and functional techniques that emphasize the breath, strength, and self-awareness.
What will I learn?
This is an Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training; this course is for any Yoga Instructor (or 200-hour level certified Yoga Practicioner) who is interested in taking their practice and their understanding of Yoga to an advanced level. The Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training program will focus on the many aspects that help individuals gain the skills for yoga instruction including in-depth Anatomy & Physiology, specifically designed for students enrolled in this program, Techniques, Teaching Methodology, Yoga Philosophy and Practicum.
There will be a strong emphasis on the energetic impact of Asana and Methodology, brought to you through the lens of Alexandra and her many years of instructing and healing with her unique training and background. Laurie will be disseminating information through the lens of Power Vinyasa from Ashtanga Yoga, including a complete weekend with a focus on Handstands. Additionally, this program will assist instructors through personalized exploration and development. Participants will get one-on-one attention in development of their niche, which is a foundational necessity when embarking upon the vast array of healing tools that yoga has to offer.
What kind of yoga does the program teach?
You will understand how to skillfully create and intelligently instruct an Advanced Vinyasa Yoga class. This program gives you a well-rounded understanding of Yoga as well as an extensive foundation on anatomy as provided by David Keil's in-depth anatomy and other aspects that that will make you well-versed in Advanced Yoga Instruction.
How much time does it take?
This training program is designed for your busy lifestyle by offering convenience and flexibility with trainings offered on weekends. Participants will attend Saturdays and Sundays 11am to 7pm between September 21st and January 6th. See the list of dates (top of page) for all dates. Weekend trainings are not every weekend; be sure to check dates listed at top. If you miss a weekend, you can make up the hours/units on the weekend of December 7th & 8th. There's an additional 25 hour requirement of pre-approved and designated classes and/or workshops in studio, completed at the students convenience, of which there's no additional cost.
When and where can I register?
Start with a quick email to Lead Trainer, Laurie Levenstein, at yogaaurabocaraton@gmail.com. It is strongly suggested that you take at least one class at Yoga Aura prior to entering the program. Registration is easy, we will guide you through a few questions. Upon registration and payment of the deposit, due by August 15th, 2019, you will receive an Orientation Email, which will outline all the in's and out's and special details of Yoga Aura's unique program.
What is the cost?
See payment options below. The $500 non-refundable deposit due by August 15th, 2019. The remainder is due by September 15th, 2019. Training sessions commence on Saturday, September 21st. Please be aware that all monies paid into this Teacher Training Program are non-refundable at the time of payment.
